ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Meet the Head Monk at his meditation temple in Japan, virtually, who will guide you through a Zazen experience. Join discussions afterwards if you wish, leave the session feeling calm, refreshed and connected.

Whether it is your first meditation, or you practise it regularly, let’s practicing breathing techniques, focus and engage in Zen meditation together. Our sessions are welcoming, relaxed and personalised to our members.

Wish to make a positive change? Part of your membership fee is donated to charities, including “NPO Temple Offerings Clubs” for children in need.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMMES

 

Zen Meditation

1 hour. 11am - 12noon (GMT) Zoom session, 3 times monthly.

This refreshing experience is held both in Japanese and English.

Meditation Starter Kit

Everything you need to engage with this experience. Our monthly gift provides essential support and inspirational guidance for your wellness journey.

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Yoshiki-san(野田芳樹), Vice Abbot at the Rinshouji Temple (林昌寺) in Japan, Rinzai-Zen school.

“Zazen is a sitting meditation of Buddhism. Beyond the distance, let's sit and be calm together. Please have a line of mind and breath with Zazen. We hope you can feel the joy of being "here and now”.”

*Any age, gender, nationality, religion is welcomed. You can join and leave freely during sessions.

STRUCTURE OF THE PRACTICE

  • Waiting room open 5mins before

  • Greeting, updates, reflections and how to Zazen, 15mins

  • Zazen session, 20mins

  • Break, 5mins

  • Participants chat time, 15mins

  • Chanting sutra 5mins.

Enhance your experience by using our kit:

  • Light an incense stick

  • Sit on a Zafu cushion

Sitting on a chair is OK. And Gazen (Zen in lying down position) is also OK, if you are receiving medical treatment.
