ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Korean food, represented by Kimchi and “Jang” (Korean sauce), which are fermented over long periods of time, are typical slow foods. Slow foods trend focus on health and nature, an excellent overall choice for an eating lifestyle that helps prevent diseases and obesity. Korean cuisine is also characterised as a low calorie food which is mainly cooked by boiling or steaming to improve the flavour of seasonal ingredients.

We are honoured to have our Master chef who is often called upon for major events such as Korean food demonstrations to Ambassadors around the world, World Food Festivals etc, to host our virtual events on a regular basis. He will introduce you step by step, to the concept, ingredients and show you how to cook healthy, authentic and delicious Korean food.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMMES
ABOUT THE CHEF
After achieving National Certificate for both Korean and Japanese Cuisine in the beginning of 1990s in Kangneung, Korea, Chef Yim was the private chef for the general when taking his Korean Army Service before came to London.
He completed Le Grand Diploma of French Cuisine and patisserie from Le Cordon Bleu London, Hospitality Management from Thames Valley University, before returning to Seoul to take up the role of Advanced Trainer for Korean food in Institute of Korean Traditional Foods.
In the last 10 years, he was frequently invited as a guest lecture to official establishments by Embassies, prestigious Korean Cultural TV shows, to countries such as Finland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Belgium, USA, France, Japan, Korea and UK. Chef Yim currently lives in London.
He is able to cater any request and give demonstrations for Korean Cuisine from basic to upper class.
His specialities also include Korean Rice Wine and Spirits, Hangwa (traditional Korean patisserie) and making Kimchi.
